Forge is built around a local-first privacy model. Your assistant's memory and saved conversation history live on your computer, not in a Forge-hosted chat account. Forge connects to AI models when answering messages, but we don't sell your data or train models on your conversations. Learn more about how Forge handles your data.
WealthHealth AI Inc ("WealthHealth AI," "we," "us," or "our") operates Forge AI as a consumer product. We build local-first software that runs on your computer and connects to AI models when answering your messages. Our contact email is privacy@forgeai.bot.
We collect only what is necessary to operate the service.
Account information: When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and a hashed password. If you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive your name, email, and a provider-issued identifier from them, and we never receive your Google or Apple password.
Billing information: Payments are processed by Stripe. We store your Stripe Customer ID and subscription status. We do not store credit card numbers or payment details. Stripe handles all payment data under their own PCI-compliant infrastructure.
Usage metrics: We track token usage (how many AI requests you make) via LiteLLM, our API proxy. This data is aggregate volume information used for billing and service health. It is separate from your saved chat history and assistant memory, which live on your computer.
Optional analytics: If you opt in during registration, we may collect anonymous crash reports and feature usage events to improve Forge. This is opt-in only, unchecked by default, and contains no conversation content. You can change this preference in your account settings at any time.
We want to be explicit about what we do not collect or use:
Forge is local-first, not offline-only. When you ask Forge for an AI response, your message is sent through our service to an AI model provider so the model can answer. Your saved history and assistant memory stay on your computer.
We do not sell your data. We do not use your data to train AI models. We do not send marketing emails without your explicit consent.
Stripe: Payment processing. Your billing data is stored and managed by Stripe under their privacy policy at stripe.com/privacy.
AI model providers (via our proxy): When you use Forge, your AI sends requests through our LiteLLM proxy to an AI model provider's API. These requests are authenticated with our account key. We do not use the content of those requests to train models or sell your data. The model provider's privacy policy applies to their handling of API requests.
Google / Apple: If you sign in with Google or Apple, those providers share limited profile data (name, email, profile photo) with us. Their respective privacy policies govern what they collect on their end.
Your account data is stored on servers we operate. Passwords are never stored in plaintext. We use industry-standard safeguards to protect account data, billing records, and service credentials.
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. You may delete your account at any time from your dashboard, which permanently removes your data from our systems.
Depending on where you live, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:
California residents have additional rights under CCPA. EU residents have additional rights under GDPR. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at privacy@forgeai.bot.
Forge is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If we learn we have done so, we will delete that information promptly. Users must confirm they are 13 or older at registration.
We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or via a notice in the app. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects when it was last changed. Continued use of Forge after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
